| Had a nice, gradually ascending hike to the summit with Tim. We approached via Virginia Lakes and climbed the NE ridge. Definitely some spectacular views from this summit. Some storms were brewing while we were on top so we didn't hang out too long. When we got back to base camp on Green Creek we feasted on tri-tip, potatoes, and good beer with the ladies. | |

| Basically I followed the outlet stream from the trail to Burrow Lake where I camped. No significant difficulties were encountered on the approach- talus was well consolidated and the thickest brush was easy to avoid. Stamina and patience were all that was required. Climbed from Burrow Lake to the summit via east ridge. Mostly class 1 or 2. Returned via south ridge to Shamrock Lake and followed trail back down to Lundy TH. | |

| My one chance of getting to an area that was not too crowded over the holiday weekend. There was a bit of haze on the west side due to some smoke in Yosemite. Other than that the views were good. | |
