Exquisitely spaced pink...
Exquisitely spaced pink porphyry granite erosional scars line the north slope of the East Ridge of Dot Mountain. If I was naming things, I'd call this ridge 'Tiger Ridge'. You have to admit it looks like the side of a giant tiger--especially when you squint. Photo taken August 23, 2001 from the Dot-Ptarmigan Saddle.
