| We were going to climb Fairchild and Hagues. We summited Fairchild and made it back to the saddle at the time the dark clouds we saw forming to the west moved in. We high-tailed it back down, but not without getting drenched. | |

| What an adventure. Climbed Fairchild at age 13. Cross country route, Bighorn Sheep, amazing views down to Crystal Lakes. I still remember it so well, even 37 years later! | |
