Fairyslipper

One of the gems of the flora world. The fairyslipper is pretty delicate and usually dies if picked so please don't try to take these. They pop up in small areas along the trail in May. Just so unique, they make you stop and gaze at them. These are disappearing rapidly from the Gorge.
