Geastrum (Astraeus) hygrometricus
This mushroom is famous for opening up the hygroscopic rays when the humidity is high, and curling back up when the air dries.
Captured in February 2007, on Karadjica mountain, Macedonia.
Karadjica (2472m) is one of the 3 big central macedonian mountain massifs connected at their highest peak Solunska Glava (2540m).
