PeteoApril hike  Sucess!
Date Climbed: Apr 20, 2010
Hiked on a very nice april day. Temp around mid 60's at the base. Brought some crampons but did not need them until about 1/2 of the way up. Became very snowy on the trail. This was our first big hike of the season and if you have done this trail before you know the last 1/2 mile is killer, straight up. Hard with the snow but our micro spike crampons helped allot. Got to the top in about 3 hours. View here is always worth the hard work. It pretty increadable to see all the mountains around. Mt Washington was spectacular in it's majestic white summit. That's not all! On the way up you get to see some awesome water falls that remind you why you come up here in the first place. If you like the LOTHR mountain shots, this hike is not to be missed it's right in your back yard. A++

We hiked along this trail to view the fall foliage and waterfalls. Trail was wet, and steep in parts.
