What the hell is that??!!

Is that a carnivorous plant of sorts? Dead, alive?? Very unusual! Thanks for submitting- nice pic.

I felt sort of stupid for asking, as it didn't look green/alive enough to actually be a (functional, at least) carnivorous plant, but I had to know one way or the other! I just got some pitcher plants (& saw some wild ones over the past weekend), so I've had a recent interest in carnivorous plants. Thanks for answering.

Thanks for looking...yes, "just" a seed pod. But a very cool one...reminds me of Little Shop of Horrors.
