| One of our first outings while on my work assignment in Germany. Did not research this trip so we were expecting a mountain but got a bald hill. Still, a very nice walk and view. | |

| In that year I was a student in Freiburg im Breisgau, and I often undertook walks in the nearby hills, in the Black forest as well as the Vosges, which I particularly loved. I walked all the way up from the city of Freiburg to the top of the Schauinsland at first, spent a night up there in my bivvy sack, then continued next morning via Notschrei and Stübenwasen (the most beautiful section!) to the top of Feldberg. I hitched a lift back down to Freiburg afterwards. | |

| Robin and walked up Feldberg and Seebuck, stopping off at Todtnauer for lunch, during our honeymoon. It was nice to take a break from cities and get outside. | |

| This isn't a mountain. It's a hill. I think you can ski here in the winter. However, it's one of the higher spots in this area of the Black Forest and the view is pretty. | |
