Nice Hill
One of our first outings while on my work assignment in Germany. Did not research this trip so we were expecting a mountain but got a bald hill. Still, a very nice walk and view.
In that year I was a student in Freiburg im Breisgau, and I often undertook walks in the nearby hills, in the Black forest as well as the Vosges, which I particularly loved. I walked all the way up from the city of Freiburg to the top of the Schauinsland at first, spent a night up there in my bivvy sack, then continued next morning via Notschrei and Stübenwasen (the most beautiful section!) to the top of Feldberg. I hitched a lift back down to Freiburg afterwards.

Nice Walk on our Honeymoon
Robin and walked up Feldberg and Seebuck, stopping off at Todtnauer for lunch, during our honeymoon. It was nice to take a break from cities and get outside.

However, it's one of the higher spots in this area of the Black Forest and the view is pretty.
