I expected more steepness and climbing… crowded and obviously very popular. A really interesting start through the tunnels. Nice summit with way too many people up there that day. A long descent back to the car park. Good capuchin and strudel at Dibona hut afterwards...

Stunning day!
Great day and ascent to Tofana di Rozes via Ferrata Lipella.
Simple access and fairly demanding ferrata (which lasts approx. 7h), but worth of every minute of ascent.
P.S. Tunnel at the beginning of ferrata is just stunning.

What a fun day. A very long route with amazing views. The 400m long tunnel at the start of the climb was a trip! An old Italian man more than twice my age passed us on the way up. The guy was moving like greased lightning! I hope I move that fast when I'm that old.

Great ferrata
Ferrata Giovanni Lipella, very nice route, wonderful mountain. This summit wasn´t "free of charge". Whole route was covered by ice and it wasn´t easy.
By the Via Ferrata Lipella - A fantastic day climbing one of the best Via ferrata in the Dolomites and therefore in the world. Arrived exhausted on the summit to be rewarded with a fantastic (and slightly worrying) view of storm clouds brewing over the rest of the Tofana massif. Running full tilt down the screes to beat the storm concluded a perfect day on the hill.

Rainy day
It was a rainy and foggy day. Sometimes it's wrong but this day this bad weather bundled out the crowd. :-)
A very enjoyable climb. On the mid sections of the ferrata (before the 'escape route') we heard a funny noise that first reminded us of some kind of giant engine. Then we realized that it was a considerable rockslide about 50 meters from us. An Austrian group we met higher up said that it came all the way from the summit. Still higher up, then later on the summit and also all the way down we had frequent but short hailstorms. Also - both summit logs are nearly full and need to be replaced soon.
