cruised the south side route on the fifth with jim. good holds and decent pro along with great belay stations made for another fantastic day climbing in the flatirons. hopefully this is the start of a great month of june.
Did a quick climb of the East Face South Side (aka Left Side) in early morning before my partner went to work. A fun 5.4 scramble with a cool finish. Easily did it in 3 pitches with a 60m rope.
Left trailhead at about 12:45, soloed the third flatiron, descended via SW Chimney (kind of sketchy), went over to the 5th flatiron, climbed it, rapped off at 4 PM, returned to the TH by 5. Fun time.
I've never seen a Flatiron with so many holds. Descent gear too! We began on the N. Side of the East face and worked our way around to the S. side of the E. face.
