Final push to Sneffels summit
Looking down at the final section of Mount Sneffels' southwest ridge. The route is steep, with some exposure on both sides, but the rock in this section is much more solid than the loose stuff encountered below. 8/19/09

Thanks, Sean. The mix of red and gray rock contrasts nicely with the grassy slopes below. It's too bad we didn't go through Blue Lakes Basin, because the bright turquoise water there would have added even more color to the hike/climb.
