First basin and notch

The first basin to cross after leaving the Gargett Mine basin. Aim for the obvious notch between the towers. This notch is at elevation 6300 ft and will require about 800 vertical feet to diagonal up and over to. Aim to get into the notch's talus fan below the small copse of trees. September 2007.
