First glimpse of Chuyskie Mountains, Altay
across the bowl of Yeshtyk-Kol lakes. The divide between Oroy and Shabaga rivers is the first point where travelers to North Chuyskie Belki Range ascend above the timberline and see the high backs, still at least a full day ahead.
