First light on the crater rim
Pico del Teide, Tenerife.
The sun was just coming out. The crater itself was still dark, but the upper rim caught the first rays.

Thanks.

At the time, I was really taking in the whole experience. Being on top of a mountain at sunrise is just simply the best.

When the first rays started playing around, I took a lot of pictures, but didn't stick around to check them, because the volcano smelled rather unpleasent - probably not very healthy stuff either - so I only saw what I had much later.
