First Obstacle on the Summit Ridge

[ Sizes: Orig | Large | Med | Small | Thumb ]
First Obstacle on the Summit Ridge
Better in "Orig"

This breccia tower is the first significant obstacle along the summit ridge of Two Ocean Mountain. It can be bypassed on either side, but it is easier, with less exposure and better footing/holds, to go to the left.

From here to the summit, the ridge's crest doesn't get this wide again.

The Tetons are in the distance.

If you click on "Orig" and then use the magnifier, you can get a good look at the breccia-cemented conglomerate that makes up the summit of this and other area peaks.
