First pitch in the South Couloir

[ Sizes: Orig | Large | Med | Small | Thumb ]
First pitch in the South Couloir
Climber belaying from the top of our first pitch in Mount Woodrow Wilson's South Couloir. The lower part of the couloir was largely melted out and we were forced to climb rotten 4th or easy 5th class rock on the right (east) side. Mount Helen and Mount Sacagawea can be seen in the background. Wind River Range, Wyoming. July 2009.

"So I was sitting in my cubicle today, and I realized, ever since I started working, every single day of my life has been worse than the day before it. So that means that every single day that you see me, that's on the worst day of my life."   --Peter Gibbons (Office Space)
