Another calendar shot Marc. It was 6 degrees here in Lehi again this morning. I'll bet you hate that warm weather in Santa Barbara and are very jealous. I'm going snowshoeing today.

But, we are heading out to Joshua Tree this morning. We are hoping to get a good campsite and make a big fire. I love J-Tree in winter. It's not as crowded as the rest of the year. 	Hasn't voted	Lone Pine Peak produces some of the best sunrise photos. It has these steep jagged ridges that make dark shadows on the background ridges. You just can't go wrong. I am still waiting for the perfect shot of this peak, and I know what I need for that. I wish I was living in Lone Pine so I could predict the light and what I need to do for my perfect photo. I would love to travel to Europe and see a little more of The Alps. Unfortunately, I am still working full time and can't go far from the home base.
