First view of The Wave on the approach. It is in the darkened chasm in the center of the picture. The north end of Top Rock, whose highest point is 5,779 ft, is beyond. The shaded crack at top center is commonly used as a landmark to bear toward en route to The Wave. Photo taken July 5, 2003.
