Climb and ski of the east face from the town of St Elmo, decent mellow ski with good snow. Skiing up the road not too fun, but skiing down it sure made those 4 miles go fast!
Started to hike in St. Elmo. Left Tincup Pass Rd at Sawmill Hill. The bushes in that area were awful. Had to do major bushwhacking. It had rained the previous night and the bushes were wet. I got soaking wet and was worried about hypothermia. It was cloudy on the summit. For descent, I followed the northern ridgeline of Fitzpatrick and traversed the slopes of Point 12780 ft to reach Tincup Pass Rd.
