| Nice afternoon hike. Went on to true highpoint on Reed and Benson ridge. Enough snow to ease my descent with some glissades. The peak has some fairly interesting bedrock for a geologist, especially the traverse to R&B highpoint. | |

| Flagstaff was short and fun with lots of beautiful wildflowers and an old mine. I wish I had climbed Cardiff while up there but maybe next time along the way to Superior/MC. | |

| Left Alta at 6:20am. Climbed north to a bump on the ridge east of Flagstaff. Traversed the ridge to Flagstaff and over it to the Reed and Benson Ridge Highpoint. Retraced my route back to Alta by 8:45am. | |

| Cardiff pass to Flagstaff and Peak 10561. Fun scrambling on ridge Northeast of pass. Stayed mostly true to the ridge to make it a 4th class endeavor. Looks possible to make the ridge a class 2 with route finding to be faster. Snow most of the way. Glissade descent on Sothern slopes of Flagstaff. | |

| Hiked with a cousin and friend. Went up Cardiff pass and scrambled up the east slope to reach the summit. Continued on north across Reed and Benson ridge to get the higher unnamed peak north of Flagstaff. Hiked down the ridge due south of Flagstaff. Wild Flowers were in full bloom. Couldn't get better than that. | ||

| Started from Alta and took the wrong ridge. Ended up on top of a peak to the east of Flagstaff. Took the ridge to Flagstaff and then continued on to Cardiff Pass and hiked back to Alta. Nice hike with amazing views of all my favorite peaks in LCC. | |

| Have skied off Flagstaff from various points on its east and north ridges into Days Fork, and have also skied Toledo. I'm livid at the prospect of Alta putting a ski lift here. | |

| Skinned up from Alta, skied down into Days, and then skinned up to the higher point of 10,651 ft at N 40.60493 W 111.64448. Basically reversed the route to get back to Alta. | |

| Rather disturbed by the thought of a ski lift to the top, Usually ski it a couple of times per season, I like to hike the Ridge from Flag to Prince of Wales Mine in Early July, the approach up Toledo and the Ridge has some of the best early Wildflowers. | |

| Climbed over Flagstaff to UN 10561 after lingering snow forced me to bail off my plans for Superior and Monte Cristo. The ridge was a great scramble although every hand and foothold needed to be tested due to loose rock. | |
