Pag island and its highest peak, Sveti Vid (349m) from the lower slopes of South Velebit. Between crests of Pag is deep Paski Zaljev (Bay of Pag). Below is dead calm in Velebitski Kanal (Velebit channel).

Hasn't voted | Yes, there wasn't a breath of wind and such dead calm doesn't happen quite often. It was rare and very beautiful sight. I always wear a seat belt Mark because penalties are quite high and alarm in the car forces me to do it also :-) That shot of Visocica continental side was separate trip from this one. But there is no danger in that if wheel is in safe hands and it was but I must admit it is strange feeling to have a foot on the gas and not look at the road for extended periods of time :-) | | Posted Dec 16, 2004 5:34 pm |

Voted 10/10 | was this photo taken? Somewhere near "Kubus",on day we met, or somewhere else / other day? The cloud front over Italy looks similar to my shots, but I have to try that polarizing filter - my photos have "foggy" appearance!

Hasn't voted | Hi Sven! It was taken in the morning half way between Karlobag and Ostarije, from around 550m, on that day when we met near Kiza. But this was such crystal clear morning that even without polarizer it would have been satisfying meaning excellent :-) Yes, around 10h it turned hazy above the sea but it was also nice for photographing. Foggy appearance can be fixed a bit if you add some contrast to the photo but when weather is like that there isn’t much you can do. | | Posted Dec 20, 2004 9:38 am |
