| From Hochjochhospiz. We missed the track. Evasive. There was an another track under the Kasselwandspitze. It was too late pass there because some snow covered the crevasses. We reach the Brandenburger Hause than heading the summit. Nice weather, easy long climb. Fantastic panorama on the top. Then We descended to the Brandenburger Haus, to stay there for the night. | |

| We started to climb from the Vernagt Hütte, over the Guslarferner in the direction of the Ob. Guslär Joch (or Winterjöchl/the normal route). But beneath the eastface of the Fluchtkogel we went to the north up to the NE ridge, which is covered with snow. A beautifull part over the ridge (see current profilephoto) to the rocky summit of the Fluchtkogel. A wonderfull view up here, with really good weather. We descended to the Brandenburger Haus, to stay there for the night. | |

| Fluchtkogel was the third summit on our easter weekend trip this year. On the way back to the Vernagt hut we also climbed Mittlere Guslarspitze (3128m). | |

| During a mountaineering course the group I was part of climbed Fluchtkogel from the Vernagt hutte and from the summit we descended to Bradenburgerhaus. This was my first true alpine climb! Loving it ever since. | |

| Cool trip, only snow and poor vissabillity. No view at all at the top but we had fun anyway. Few pics on the top and then knee deep in the snow down the glaciers. | |
