Footwork!

Footwork!
This face was pretty technical and blank. As Larissa tells me, lead climbing is 90% mental and 10% footwork! Here I work the arete with the right foot and hand and crimp the face with the left hand while smearing. A fun and technical route at North Table Mountain called Bullet the Brown Cloud(11a/b). Photo courtesy of Scott Borger. 3-8-08.
