Fossil Creek Waterfall | [ Sizes: Orig | Large | Med | Small | Thumb ] |
Fossil Creek is a beautiful spring fed creek east of Camp Verde in Central Arizona. The spring produces around 20,000 gallons of turquoise blue water that runs through deep red rock canyons, eventually meeting up with the Verde River. Comments[ Post a Comment ] | lcarreau | Thanks ... | |
Voted 10/10 | Fascinating area!
Another one (on my list) is 'Grand Falls'
along the Little Colorado River (several
miles northeast of Flagstaff!)

Voted 10/10 | Grand Falls is on the Navajo Res. Usually best seen in May or early June, as the run-off is what makes it roar. Looks like a chocolate milk falls most of the time. | | Posted Sep 14, 2009 10:53 pm |

Voted 10/10 | I can almost feel the spray. It seems like most photographers are using very slow shutters on their waterfalls for an artistic effect. I really like the realism of this picture. | | Posted Apr 24, 2010 6:31 pm |

Hasn't voted | Thanks for the comment! Yes, that does give that water a better visual effect. In this case, my camera was on an auto function and it actually turned out really nice.
