| We (DAV Lahr) had a great climb under ideal conditions. Drove from Germany to Kandersteg on Saturday, climbed to the hut, ate and slept. Next morning, awesome climb on rock and snow, then back to the hut for lunch and the hike back to Kandersteg. Drove home to Germany that evening. Perfect. Wonderful mountain, even if it isn't the highest in the area! To see the route we took and how it went, read my description of the NW Ridge. | |
