| The weather changed on us pretty swiftly though. It went from ok weather, to good, and then to lousy. | |

| Fun little scramble, came up from the saddle, descended other side to next drainage. Snow mostly gone on descent route. | |

| An unusually snowy spring was compounded by a blizzard that blew in as we were climbing. The navigation was easy though, as we had brought maps and compass as well as GPS. Although the shorter peak, Freedom turned out to be more enjoyable as an alpine experience (we had climbed Navaho earlier that day and it was mostly tree covered). | |

| Though there was a heavy snowshower hitting this summit, it was a fun snowclimb to the summit. No views due to the weather on this peak but cool summit. | |
