Freezeout Lake and the Rocky Mountain Front
Along U.S. 89 between Great Falls and Choteau, this lake appears and frames the didtant peaks of the Scapegoat Wilderness. Freezout Lake is an important stopping place for migratory birds, and several can be seen in this photograph.
