| I was driving back to LA, and I saw this peak to the left of me that looked pretty cool, and I happened to have Andy Zdon's book, Desert Summits, with me and it told me which dirt road to take and off I went. Got to the top just as the sun was setting. Beautiful mountain. | |

| After a completely washed / snowed out White Mountain climbing trip over Memorial Day weekend, I found this fun little diversion gave me something to feel good about. It took me a grand total of an hour and 20 minutes from the time I left 395 until I returned. | |
