Apparently this rescue took place in the St. Jean Couloir on October 6, 2003. A 48 year old male climber fell and broke his leg and wrist, and his partner went for help. The SAR team decided that a carry-out was inadvisable, and requested the helo. The closest available was in Pendleton Oregon, and did not arrive on scene until Monday morning (the accident occured Saturday afternoon). Here are the details.
"So I was sitting in my cubicle today, and I realized, ever since I started working, every single day of my life has been worse than the day before it. So that means that every single day that you see me, that's on the worst day of my life."
