Great, Szani, that you have added this route description! Due to the cable car (which is now, I guess, not operating) this route is rarely used, but it is absolutely the basic approach from Bovec. Unfortunately I have never done it.
Hi Vid, thanks for your appreciation! I believe, too, that this should be the normal route. But it isn't - I was very lonely on this long route. I don't know exactly how is the cable car situation. On the summit I met a single guy (coming from Udine). He told me that he came with the cable car. Perhaps is there another line from the Italian side and that is operating?
