From French Ridge looking up to Mt. Avalanche. Nov. 2004 Yeah, it ain't Aspiring but if you go via French Ridge to get to the Bonar this is a nice view of a dandy peak that is more difficult than the Aspiring Guide Book says it is to climb. Rhime ice and verglass on the rock ridge precluded any prudent attempt.

Hasn't voted | If you've got the inclination this peak is a fun climb. The SW face(the snow slopes just to the right of the summit on the above photo)is comparable to the SW ridge of Aspiring.
