From Kupunkamint to White Calf...

Photo taken as we exited the summit, giving a good look at the ridge running from Kupunkamint to White Calf, and also a peek at the plains running off into central Montana and (on a clear day) Alberta. What can't be seen are the almost hurricane force winds driving us off the summit. Quite unusual, because we didn't encounter such until probably three-fourths of the way up—surprisingly, on this day the often windy valleys were calm. Photo by Vernon, June 28, 2009.
