From Pine Rock Ledge

Half Dome (left) and Hemlock Mountain (right) dominate the view from Pine Rock Ledge, Bob Webber Trail. This area is located in north-central Pennsylvania, and lies on the eastern part of the Allegheny Plateau. June 2005.

Half Dome has the highest vertical rise of any peak in the Pine Creek Valley. It also has a fun "climbers trail," which consists of scrambling up and over quite a few rock ledges to the top of the mountain. There are some very nice views of the lower Pine Creek Valley from the top.

Though not as good as the fall picture in the same spot, it gives a good representation of the summer time feel. And Hemlock is always a fascinating mountain to look at.
