From the early portion of the trail
It is easy to become focused on the steep trail and forget that the views to the west over the Salt Lake Valley can often be spectacular. Such was the case on 1-12-10 at sunrise as Brent and I began our trek. Such clouds over the Oquirrh Mountains don't form very often.
