From the Top

The left hand (climber's left) branch of the Y Gully from the top. There was no cornice! The top 200 feet slid 18" deep when the second skier dropped in. We descended the other side from the top of the small col via an unrecommended route into the south fork of Pine Creek. Much heinous bushwhacking and traversing in rotten, south facing snow and crusty wet slide debris. Is it rock climbing season yet? April 1, 2006.
