From the west (Utah Valley), Provo Peak is a tall, but docile-looking mountain. The east face is far more rugged, as seen from Strawberry Peak. Access to the base of this face is difficult with private property issues everywhere. Yet if you team up with Wasatch Powderbirds in the winter, you can heli-ski the entire mountain.
