Hooked!  Sucess!

After a few summits out in the Front Range, I am now a convert. The wonderful difference from our mountains further West, though, is tempered by the ever-increasing crowds from Denver and elsewhere...

Easy access and fun to be had  Sucess!

Hit quite a few mountains in this range. Finally got up to Estes area this year. Climbed north face on Longs Peak, and that is the favorite thus far. RMNP is very worthy of coming back to explore more another time..

Quick Trip...Definitely on the Return List  Sucess!

Bagged a couple small peaks while spending a few days in Boulder. The range is awesome and is definitely calling me back. Longs is definitely on the list.

Cut my teeth here  Sucess!

Lived in Manitou Springs and Colorado City for five years, thus I hiked a lot in the Pikes Peak area. Got into both hiking and climbing and rock hounding because of these rambles. A great place!

Close to Denver  Sucess!

Front Range is like convinient store, close and handy. So many peaks, regardless of height there is something for everybody.

Too much to list...  Sucess!

Have climbed, hiked, bushwhacked (navigation), trail-ran pretty much all ranges and aspects of the Front Range. Quad-Pointing REALLY gets one out to discover the lesser known areas accessable only by hoofing straight up sides, up drainages, across private property using only map & compass.
Then there's the area's high peaks...
SO much diversity.
