I was fascinated by this. The trees looked like they were full of snow, but the ground was bare. Thanksgiving Day 2002.

Incredible !

The mysteries of Nature. This was before
the global warming debate, right?
Just a "side-note:" I read where there
were so many ELK in Mt. St. Helens NVM,
that they had to airlift some of the
elk out of there. Perhaps Mt. St. Helens
is a HOT place for elk sightings!!!
