Fruits of Common Hawthorn in winter
Fruits of Common Hawthorn (Crataegus monogyna) ripen in autumn and are edible. They are a delicacy for many different animals. Tea made from these fruits has medicinal purposes. It can be used to treat high blood pressure, anxiety and insomnia.
