Full Moon over Lake Tahoe
My plan was to watch the sunrise over the Great Basin and the full moon set over Lake Tahoe from the summit of Genoa Peak. I reached the summit nearly 2 hours before sunrise, so instead of waiting around in the January predawn, I headed down only to take this picture less than a half mile from the car.
