Almost the entire route could be seen from here. Notice Mike in the right edge of the picture. Follow the broad ridge to its end. From that point on, you're on a glacier.

We ascended via the west side route (traverse to an obvious low point "notch" between Ruth and its subsidiary peak, immediatley to the right (west) in the picture). Short climb ensues to the summit.

We descended directly down (north) from the summit going near the large black rock outcrop, which can be seen near the summit.
