Galactic Cannibalism, 5.10b | [ Sizes: Orig | Med | Small | Thumb ] |
Galactic Cannibalism, 5.10b/ One of my favorite routes at Black Rocks north, located in between Moses Had a Stick Clip, 5.10a and Dark Matter, 5.10c. A classic on lead, sustained finger pocket 40'er. Eases up towards the top. Middle is the crux. Four bolts to cold shuts.

Hasn't voted | I don't know Charles. Bottom line is I can lead 5.10 sport climbs all day, but with trad gear, multi pitch alpine days at 5.10 is a huge deal for me and definitely at my limits. cclaude, pvalchev and I did McTech Arete in the Bugs this past summer and it takes a lot more stamina and guts to lead 5.10 on long walls with packs on. Chuck (cclaude) is a true climbing artist though. | | Posted Feb 11, 2007 9:57 pm |
