I've been here to stroll with the dogs, I've climbed airy routes here, I've even mountain biked here. I promised myself that if the day ever comes when I look at Garden of the Gods and fail to be amazed, I have become a cold, callous soul. This is an amazing piece of natural art!
Have only done a couple of climbs here, kind of a weird vibe for me, with the tourists and traffic.

Sentinel Rock
Sentinel Rock located in the center of the park is a great rout for sport climbing. Alot of folks stopped by just to check us out and ask questions on the how, what, and why's of the climb. Thank you for visiting us

With the wife and doggie a few times... moderate scrambles, but nothing resembling vertical... soon though!

The rocks here are awesome. I live in Idaho, and it is really great that Colorado Springs has a park this amazing right on the fringes of the city. One of my favorite day hike, scramble, climbing (etc.) destinations; an absolutely great place.

Fun Climbing, don't think I have ever had so many people watch me climb. I got quite the round of applause after clipping the bolts on one of the climbs, but I don't remember which one.

ConvenientAbout 5 minutes from work for me. Nice variety of climbs and very scenic. Can climb here pretty much year-round.

Amazing SunsetVisited Garden Of The Gods by late afternoon. Colors of the rocks turned to orange during the sunset hours. Amazing!

Cool Place!One of the neatest places in Colorado Springs...didn't climb any technicals but sure enjoyed watching the kids doing it!

starting to explore10/1/10- climbed montezuma's tower north ridge(5.7), windows route(5.2....5.4/5.5?), white spire's south ridge(5.7) and pigeon spire(5.4).
12/4/10- climbed on a very cold day w/A.J. after the windows(5.2) route we stuck to easy routes in the sun to stay warm.
will be back for montezuma's tower!
