Gardner Mountain

Gardner Mountain

The south side of Gardner Mountain, as seen from Gardner Meadows (~5700' elevation). The true summit (8898' elevation) of Gardner Mountain cannot be seen from Gardner Meadows, but the standard south approaches (couloirs/gullies) can be seen. From this vantage point, the true summit is actually hidden beyond the rocky cliffs seen on the right side of the photo. Photo taken on June 26, 2010.
