| USGS topos fail to depict just how gnarly the ridge from Garfield to Red Mtn is. I had hoped to continue along the ridge but was stopped by vertical towers and extremely loose scree slopes below them. | |

| jamie, mike, steve and i cruised over to garfield after climbing grizzly. our descent glissade BLEW! we got too far south and chose a route which dropped into a place we didn't want to be, and couldn't see from the top. tedious, slow process getting through this section. from there we cruised down. jamie | |

| Climbed with shanahan96, jamie nellis and stevets689 after ascending Grizzly. Descended the SW slopes, but probably should have backtracked closer to Grizzly before dropping because we saw a much nicer route on our way back out the road. | |
