| While my father was looking for flowers I went to the summit of this beautiful mountain. I know not much anymore how it was... Maybe I go back on of the coming years, just to remember how the feeling was when I was 15 years old. | |

| We reached the summit over the NW ridge, we also reached the nearby Kammleiten, the peak with very nice view. We descended by the normal route over the SE-E slopes. | |

| We were for the first time on Gartnerkofel on April 2nd, 1995. We did the simple ski tour down on Nassfeld. On July 2nd, 2006 we did the cute NW ridge. For the whole tour, with a lot of photographing and the ascent on the nearby Kammleiten, we needed some less than 3 hours. Then we almost went home, but decided to still check the Garnitzenklamm. Bingo! It turned out another tour of good 4 hours. | |
