A panoramic view of Gem Lake in the Alpine Lakes Wilderness. This little lake truly is a gem! This was taken on the way to Wright Mountain (right) with Roosevelt in the center and Kaleetan left of center. That's me with the shadow cameo. :) Alpine Lakes Wilderness, WA. 10-3-15.

Lucky for you ...

you picked Wright Mountain instead of the wrong one ... I lived in Puyallup for 8 years, and I really miss that area.

But, I don't miss the rain on most days.

Gotta miss pikas and marmots the most !

Right day, right time, Wright Mountain for sure! We just broke out of about 3 months of rain and had a beautiful weekend. Consequently, I'm jonesin' for the mountains! Nothing quite like the chirp of a Pika in the morning!
