| We started at Lower Iowa Gulch trailhead, went up Dyer Amphitheatre to the saddle, then up Dyer's west ridge to summit Dyer. We then went down the east ridge, climbed the twin summits of Gemini and then Sherman. We descended to the Sherman - Sheridan saddle and then dropped back down to our start point. | |

| Scaled the NE prominance first (county high point) and had a bit to eat on the other peak. Couple of cool little bumps. Went on to tag Dyer. Couldn't have asked for better weather. | |

| Parked at the winter TH at the ASARCO mine, slogged up the road to the Iowa Amphetheater. Hit the saddle between Dyer and Gemini, took the ridge up to Gemini. In between the twin summitts of Gemini, the winds we a solid 40mph. Continued on to Sherman and then on to Mt. Sheridan. Nice Solo hike. | |

| An Elk bugled when I stepped onto the trail in the morning. An elk bugled in the afternoon when I stepped off the trail and back onto the road. Never saw anyone that day; just heard the elk. Thanks. | |

| been a 14er once. I'm sure the intensive mining blasting that occured on the peak in the 1800's downgraded it some. Who knows, I'm surely not a geologist. | |

| In April, while Mount Sherman and Dyer Mountain were covered in deep snow, Gemini Peak (at least the north summit) was totally dry above the saddle. I'm not sure I would consider Gemini a mountain though. | |
