2012, a very wet year

I just looked at the forecast for the summit of Damavand and it said 129 cm of fresh snowfall between now and April 26. The pictures that I have seen of the Alborz Mountains for winter of 2011-2012, have shown tons of snow

2011-2012

Unlike 2010-2011, my friends reported the first snow cover of Tochal on August! When I went last winter there was a great snow cover everywhere, on the plane I could see south and north everywhere was white. May and June would be beautiful months for climbing in Iran this year.
